The 2023 Senior Bowl is here, and it is time to look at five defensive prospects the Minnesota Vikings should watch closely.

It’s February, and while it means the NFL championship will be decided this month, it is also the start of the draft season for the Minnesota Vikings with the East-West and Senior Bowls both taking place this week.

The Senior Bowl is the daddy of the two, where all the top prospects who have accepted invitations congregate down in Mobile, Alabama to be interviewed and measured by scouts, while also competing against each other in drills and eventually the game.

The Vikings are looking for damn near a total overhaul on defense and will be watching that side of the ball very closely this week. They need help at linebacker, cornerback, and defensive tackle, and teams can never have enough edge rushers.

There are plenty of those down in Alabama and Minnesota general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah and his staff are definitely taking notes. Who are a few defensive prospects the Vikings should watch closely at this year’s Senior Bowl?
