SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WSBT) — There is a new addition at the Food Bank of Northern Indiana.
A newly remodeled drive-thru pantry was unveiled today.
It features a permanent façade, making it convenient for volunteers and those who utilize the food pantry.
The project is 14 months in the making, and it is all thanks to a grant from Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield.
“But our partnership will continue throughout the great work, we find it a great partnership,” said Mark Schneider, Medicare Market Performance Regional Vice President.
The Community Food Pantry of St. Joseph County is the largest pantry in the Food Bank of Northern Indiana’s network of 124 pantries.
