BLYTHEVILLE, Ark. (WLUK) – Double-murder suspect Richard Sotka agreed to be returned to Wisconsin during his first court appearance Friday.

Sotka admitting to authorities he killed Rhonda Cegeski and Paula O’Connor Sunday at a home on Green Bay’s east side before fleeing south. He was arrested Sunday afternoon in Mississippi County, Arkansas.

However, due to the ice storms in that region this week, Sotka did not appear in court until an appearance by video Friday, where he waived extradition, according to court officials.

It is not known how long it will take to transport Sotka to Green Bay for his first appearance in Brown County court on two counts of first-degree intentional homicide, criminal damage to property, and four counts of bail jumping.
