Pedestrian Collision on South Bonnie Brae Street Left One Man Dead

LOS ANGELES, CA (February 3, 2023) – Monday evening, a hit-and-run pedestrian crash claimed the life of Kyle Ray.

The collision happened on January 23rd, at around 7:30 p.m., at the intersection of South Bonnie Brae Street near MacArthur Park.

According to reports, Ray, possibly in medical distress, was passed out on the road on 6th Street. There, a blue westbound pickup truck struck him, dragged him 20 ft, and then fled the scene without rendering aid.

Responding medical personnel declared 32-year-old Kyle Ray, of Los Angeles, dead at the scene.

Officials describe the involved truck as a 2007-2013 blue Dodge Ram with a rack, and custom lights and rims.

Los Angeles Officials are asking anyone with information about the Sixth Street hit-and-run to contact Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-8477. Authorities also offered a $50,000 reward to anyone who can point out the whereabouts of the suspect.
