BURLINGTON, Mass. — Three Massachusetts hospitals have been ranked among the best healthcare facilities in the United States.
Healthgrades recently released its 2023 ranking of “America’s 250 Best Hospitals” after using Medicare inpatient data from the Medicare Provider Analysis and Review to measure performance and evaluate hospitals for overall clinical excellence.
Patient outcomes data for 31 conditions or procedures, including stroke and heart attack, were analyzed for virtually every hospital in the country, according to Healthgrades.
Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington, Lawrence General Hospital in Lawrence, and Salem Hospital in Salem, were the local healthcare facilities that were recognized on Healthgrades’ ranking.
