A judge on Friday denied a competency evaluation for the Fort Dodge woman charged with killing her newborn.Taylor Blaha's trial is set to start on Feb. 28. Blaha, 24, and the child's father, 31-year-old Brandon Thoma, are both charged with first-degree murder. Police say Thoma hid the baby's body after the couple drowned the girl in a bathtub.Thoma's trial is set for August.The baby's body is still missing.

A judge on Friday denied a competency evaluation for the Fort Dodge woman charged with killing her newborn.

Taylor Blaha's trial is set to start on Feb. 28.
