At Least 1 Injured In I-285 E Wreck In Sandy Springs

The crash had lanes blocked on Interstate 285 eastbound near Roswell Road.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA — A Friday morning crash on Interstate 285 eastbound left a person seriously injured and lanes blocked near Roswell Road, Sandy Springs Police said.

The wreck involved a small sedan and a tractor-trailer, police said.

The driver of the sedan was found unresponsive at the scene and was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, police said. The person's injuries are not life threatening, police said.

The Sandy Springs Police Department's traffic units are investigating the wreck.
