New charges have been filed against a Wisconsin man accused of a violent stabbing rampage against his soon-to-be ex-in-laws.
The Oak Creek man, who is accused of a violent revenge stabbing in Illinois, is now facing murder-for-hire charges.
Authorities said in December, 36-year-old Michael Liu shot into his in-laws' house and stabbed the couple in the midst of a divorce with his wife.
According to a new criminal complaint, in January, Liu offered to pay inmates $20,000 for the murder of witnesses in that crime.
Liu is currently being held on a $1 million bond.
He is scheduled to be in court Friday morning on solicitation of murder for hire charges.
