Few other details have been released by St. George Police about the woman, who they say has been identified. However, the woman’s identity is not being released publicly.

Authorities are citing a continuing investigation into the circumstances around a woman found dead at the Prime Tire & Auto Repair Shell gas station at 297 W. St. George Boulevard by its owner when it opened Wednesday morning.

“There is no risk to the public, and foul play is not suspected,” a statement by St. George Police released Thursday afternoon stated. “Cause of death has not been determined and autopsy results are pending. Nothing further will be released at this time.”

Police and detectives scoured the site where the body was found in the back of the station at the corner of the boulevard and 300 West throughout the morning Wednesday.

Business went on at the station while the back of the building was lined with yellow police tape.
