Omaha man dies after crashing into tree

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — An Omaha man is dead after he crashed into a tree Thursday morning.

The Omaha Police Department says officers responded to the corner of Z and 151st Streets just before 3 a.m. on a report of a crash.

Police say a Nissan Murano traveling east on Z Street left the road and hit a tree in front of a home.

The driver, 22-year-old Alexander Locum, was pronounced dead at the scene.

He was the sole occupant of the vehicle. The crash remains under investigation.
