One person who has already heard from the PUC is Ed Frey of New Holland, Lancaster County.

We've been following his story since early last month. His December bill was up 38% and adjusted by PPL after he read his own meter.

But he is still concerned about other customers.

"The media reports are 790,000 people were billed erroneously by PPL. And two-thirds of the people that I have some intimate knowledge of their bills, there's still a problem," he said.

As 8 On Your Side has reported, these high bills have been a combination of higher energy prices and what PPL calls a "technical issue" that forced it to estimate the bills of many consumers. PPL says that problem is resolved.

If you think PPL has not addressed your issues, call the PUC's Bureau of Consumer Services at 1-800-692-7380.
