Tennessee football made the top four for standout running back Jordan Marshall Thursday afternoon. The Vols are the lone SEC team in the top group for the Ohio native, joining Michigan, Ohio State and Wisconsin.

Marshall ranks as one of a four-star and one of the top prep running backs in the 2024 recruiting class. The Cincinnati native is the No. 105 player and No. 8 running back in the country according to the 247sports composite rankings. Marshal is also ranks as the No. 2 player in the Buckeye State.

While Tennessee is the lone southern school in the midwest running back’s top four, Cincinnati is closer to Knoxville than Ann Arbor or Madison. Still, going into Ohio and beating out the Buckeyes for a player they want is an extremely tough task.
