The new outpost will be owned and operated by franchisee Antonio McBroom, who also operates the Ben & Jerry’s in Inman Park.

“We’ve really enjoyed the Atlanta market and are excited to launch this location in High Street,” McBroom tells What Now Atlanta, adding, “it’s a very cool project.”

According to a press release shared with What Now Atlanta, High Street is a $2 billion, transit-oriented, mixed-use district in the heart of Atlanta’s Central Perimeter, that’s being led by Boston-based real estate investment and management firm, GID Development.

In a statement, McBroom – who operates under the Black-owned Primo Partners banner, Ben & Jerry’s largest franchise developer – said, “We are very selective about where we open our scoop shops, as all the elements have to be perfect. High Street’s vibrant setting presented the ideal opportunity to reach our fans north of the city center, so we can’t wait to ‘bring our flavors & mission to life’ next year.”

Similarly, James Linsley, president of GID Development said, “With each new tenant, we are thoughtfully crafting a vibrant, amenity-rich destination that will serve as the town center for Central Perimeter. From the outset, our focus has been on designing compelling and active public spaces and curating a collection of talented chefs and restaurants at High Street, and we have so much more in store as we move toward 2024.”

To date, High Street has named six tenants including Puttshack, The Hampton Social, Ben & Jerry’s, Agave Bandido, Cuttlefish, and boutique beauty salon, Sugarcoat.
