VALLEY STATION ERIN SHEEHAN IS FACING NUMEROUS CHARGES TODAY, INCLUDING ATTEMPTED MURDER OF A POLICE OFFICER AND ARSON. POLICE SAY SHEEHAN FIRED AT OFFICERS RESPONDING TO A DOMESTIC DISPUTE REPORT ON WOODBRIDGE LAKE BOULEVARD LAST NIGHT. A BULLET HIT AT LEAST ONE POLICE CAR, BUT NO OFFICERS WERE HURT. A Louisville man answered to a long list of charges after a SWAT standoff in Valley Station. Police took Aaron Sheehan, 37, into custody Wednesday night after they say he shot at officers and set a home on fire.It happened in the 5100 block of Woodbridge Lake Boulevard.Police said it started as a domestic dispute. When they arrived, they say Sheehan fired at officers, hitting at least one police car.No officers were hit, and police said they did not return fire.LMPD said Sheehan ran into a house, barricaded himself and then set it on fire. As the house was being engulfed in flames, Sheehan gave himself up to the police. On Thursday, he pleaded not guilty to attempted murder, arson and wanton endangerment charges.Court records gave more info about the domestic dispute, saying he allegedly pointed a gun at his brother and the man's two children.In court, the judge increased his bond from $150,000 to $1 million. When this happened, he laughed and said, "I don't have one million, I know that. That's crazy though."The judge also agreed to have him get a psychiatric evaluation. He'll be back in court next week.
