NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The death of a 43-year-old woman found weeks later in her Brooklyn apartment was deemed a homicide, authorities announced Thursday.

At about 11:10 a.m. on Dec. 15, officials responded to a 911 call reporting a foul odor.

Upon arrival, officers discovered the badly decomposed body of Tamara Graham inside her apartment at the Albany Houses located on Troy Ave. in Crown Heights, officials said.

Police said Graham had been dead for several weeks.

The city's Medical Examiner ruled her death a homicide from strangulation, authorities said.

No arrests have been made and an investigation remains ongoing.
