University of Iowa Athletics voided hundreds of tickets purchased by University of Illinois students ahead of the two schools' men's basketball game this Saturday in Iowa City.

Illinois student fan group 'The Orange Krush' usually goes to one road basketball game a year. In 2010, they came to Carver-Hawkeye Arena wearing black and gold pregame, before unveiling orange Illini gear underneath.

The problem this time, UI Athletics says, is the group posed as the Illinois Chapter of the Boys and Girls Club. The athletic department followed up with the actual organization and found out the Boys and Girls Club was not behind the purchase.

After contacting the person who made the ticket order, they admitted to falsely using the non-profit's name. Iowa says they voided the tickets, refunded the group and donated the tickets to the Boys and Girls Club of Cedar Rapids.

The Orange Krush crushed the UI Athletics Department for the move claiming they bought the tickets last fall and since it is so close to the game, they cannot get a refund for the charter buses they purchased to get to Iowa City.
