Man Arrested In Cambria Heights Shooting, 17-Year-Old Injured: NYPD

QUEENS — A man from Brooklyn was arrested after a shooting in Cambria Heights left a 17-year-old boy with a gunshot wound in December, police said.

Michael Tiru, 23, was arrested for attempted assault on Wednesday after he and other men shot multiple times at a group of people in the intersection of Linden Boulevard and 228th Street on Dec. 31 about 11:45 p.m., the NYPD said.

One of the shots hit a 17-year-old boy in the abdomen, and the injury was non-fatal, authorities said.
