ROCHESTER, N.Y. — St. Johns Home hosted its Centenarian Celebration in person on Tuesday after a three-year hiatus.

The luncheon is held in recognition of residents who have a century or more of life to look back on.

This year, birthday mentions went out to Katie, Betty, Reba and Evalyn. St. John's also honored Dorothy Biedenbach, who sadly passed away before the event, however, her family still attended to celebrate the life she lived.

The five women range in age from 100-103.

Betty Krist said she was celebrating her 102nd birthday early as her official birthday is in July.

According to Katie Nau, her secret to longevity is "sitting in a chair for 75 years."
