A man was killed in a stabbing in Downtown Portland late Tuesday night, police say.

Law enforcement responded to a stabbing call at the 1200 block of Southwest Park Avenue, in front of the Portland Art Museum, shortly before 11 p.m.

Officers at the scene found a man suffering from a stab wound, and he died shortly after their arrival.

Police detained a suspect at the scene, and later arrested him.

Jonathan Grall, 25, was booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center on one count of Murder in the Second Degree and one count of Unlawful Use of a Weapon.

During the investigation, Southwest Park Avenue and Southwest 9th Avenue was closed between Southwest Main Street and Southwest Jefferson Street.
