HARTFORD, CT — If you want to cash in on a lottery game, it appears Hartford may be the place to go.

On Monday, two separate winning tickets were purchased in Connecticut's capital city, including one for an $825,000 payout.

On anonymous resident of Miami, Fla., enjoyed a nice trip north Monday by winning $825,000 in the Connectiut Lottery Corp.'s "Strike It Rich!" scratch-off game.

The maximum prize is a $1 million annuity, but its likely the Floridian who won isn't complaining too much, especially since the price to play is $20 — not a bad investment.

The winning ticket was purchased at Delta Food & Fuel in Hartford.

Meanwhile, a Bloomfield resident won a tidy sum of cash playing a scratch-off game purchased in Hartford as well that same day.

According to the Connecticut Lottery Corp., Zachary Eaddy won $50,000 playing the "Money Match Multiplier" scratch-off game.

He purchased the winning ticket at Bkhtan in Hartford, a gas station/convenience store.

The maximum payout for the Money Match Multiplier game, which costs $5 to play, is $50,000, so it was a good day for Eaddy Monday.
