JJ Watt no longer a Texan, but proud legacy in Houston cemented
The number of times the former Texans star showed up for Houston is incalculable. See almost every landmark moment in the video above.

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Former Houston Texan JJ Watt seems to be daydreaming about good ol' Texas food, specifically in Houston.

Watt took to Twitter to give credit, where credit is due, to the city where thousands of fellow foodies reside.

"Houston is one of the most underrated food cities in the world," Watt said in a tweet. Houston is no stranger to ranking amongst the best of the best in many categories, and food is no exception.

From being named one of the world's 100 best cities, to being among the most educated, and to being the number one in the United States for home sales in master-planned communities, it's safe to say H-town is looking pretty appealing.

The video above shows a look back at all the times JJ Watt showed up for the people of Houston.

It's no wonder the three-time Defensive Player of the Year might miss a mouth-watering turkey leg after leaving Houston for the Cardinals in early 2021.

Late last month, the former Houston Texans star shared his plans to retire after this season. Although Watt no longer plays for Houston's NFL team, he'll always be a Houstonian at heart - and clearly, his stomach.
