Abigail Hornik of Chinook Horses tells the audience about the Chinook Horses organization and its equine therapeutic services. Their goal is to provide therapeutic services to those in need who cannot afford it. This kind of assisted therapy can be expensive. Therapy offered by Chinook Horses is different than traditional therapy in that this therapy focuses on the “feeling brain” and emotions rather than being an entirely cerebral endeavor. Chinook Horses started in 2016. They are focused on developing their board of directors, with a couple of seats currently available.
