Hartford Highway Crash Quickly Cleared: Update
The accident Thursday afternoon had closed a lane.
HARTFORD, CT — Interstate 84 traffic was slightly impacted Thursday afternoon after a motor vehicle accident closed a lane, but that wreck has now been cleared, state Department of Transportation officials said.
According to the DOT, the crash happened on I-84 east between exits 51 and 52, resulting in the left lane being closed.
The crash was reported at 1:49 p.m., but by 1:59 p.m., it was declared "cleared" by the DOT, according to its Twitter feed.
