Popular chicken finger restaurant Raising Cane's is teaming up with Shreveport's Holy Angels for its free sauce doubloon promotion for Mardi Gras.

Until the end of the Mardi Gras season on Tuesday, Feb. 21 patrons can purchase a "free sauce" doubloon for $1 each that is redeemable for the famous Raising Cane's sauce. All proceeds will go to Holy Angels and the special edition doubloons are redeemable through Lent.

Chicken fingers are the main event – and the only event – at Raising Cane’s, a chain built entirely around this one humble dish. The most popular entrée, the Box Combo, features four tenders with Cane’s Sauce for dipping, cole slaw, crinkle-cut fries, griddled Texas toast and a drink.

"Any time we have the opportunity to connect celebrating our culture with supporting organizations like Holy Angels, it's a win for us," said Founder and CEO of Raising Cane's Todd Graves. "We invite customers to join us to support this incredible organization this Carnival season."

Holy Angels is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals with intellectual and development disabilities. Thei mission is to provide individuals with a path to self-fulfillment through education, empowerment, spirituality, independence and work.
