Empire State Development has freed up a third of the $60 million allocation to the Central Terminal to be used toward a number of renovations and enhancements. Business First reporting that $20 million will be used to renovations to the main terminal’s passenger concourse, lobby, restaurant and waiting room. There will also be some exterior masonry work and repairs made to an adjoining parking garage. The Central Terminal Restoration Corp. has set a December 20th bid deadline for services related to the renovations.

Last week, the West Herr Automotive Group and Mayor Byron Brown co-hosted an event honoring individuals featured in the Inspiring Women of Western New York coffee table book.  In addition to underwriting the book's production costs and the event itself, West Herr made a donation $50,000 to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Western New York.
