LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Las Vegas police are investigating a homicide that happened Wednesday, Oct. 5, near Lake Mead and Martin Luther King boulevards.

The homicide was reported at approximately 10:42 p.m. in the 2100 block of Citrus Hills Avenue.

When officers arrived they found an unresponsive man in a vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds.

He was later pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.

According to the police investigation, the victim had arrived at an apartment complex and was then shot by an unidentified suspect.

Police then said the suspect left the scene before officers arrived.

This is the fifth homicide this week that Metro police are investigating.
