Davison Leaving NU’s Athletic Department for NIL Venture

Matt Davison is leaving his role in Nebraska’s athletic department. 

Davison announced yesterday that he’ll help launch a new Name, Image, Likeness collective called the 1890 Initiative.  It will focus on representing Husker student-athletes, starting with football and volleyball players. 

Davison reportedly will continue to serve as an analyst on Nebraska football game broadcasts at least for the rest of this season.
