Check out this list of events happening around Central Ohio.

October 7

Columbus Italian Festival at St. John The Baptist Italian Church: A three-day celebration of the finest in food, entertainment and Italian culture!

2022 Columbus Mac and Cheese Festivalat The Yard at Easton Town Center: The festival includes delectable samples of mac and cheese from local restaurants, live music entertainment, kid zone activities, a raffle with prizes and a festive atmosphere! Attendees will also have the opportunity to vote for their favorite mac and cheese!

Annual Glass Pumpkin Patch Sale at Glass Axis: Come by and see more than a dozen local glass artists displaying their favorite fall-themed glass that is sure to be the perfect addition to any home or desk. This year’s Pumpkin Patch will be from October 7-15.

Cartoon Crossroads Columbus - CXC 2022 at Columbus Museum of Art: This event runs from October 6-9. It's a 4-day citywide comic book and cartoon art festival of interactive panels, presentations, & artist spotlights. The expo has over 100 tables of creators and publishers telling their creations.

ZOMBIEzi Bay at Columbus Zoo and Aquarium: ZOMBIEzi Bay will offer a new world and new waves with four haunted houses, two scare zones, the Sea Dragon roller coaster, other non-water rides, and plenty of sinister surprises. Officials will turn the waterpark into a zombie's dream. Takes place Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

October 8

Day of the Dead Columbus at Green Lawn Cemetery: This free, family festival is an all-day celebration with traditional offerings, art exhibits, traditional music and local bands, a panel discussion about Day of the Dead, a conversation circle, cultural and educational activities for children, free face painting for kids, exhibitions from several elementary schools about the festivity, local arts and crafts, traditional Mexican food and more.

WOSU Second Saturday Kids Day at WOSU Public Media: Meet Elinor, the curious bunny rabbit, from “Elinor Wonders Why” on PBS KIDS at Second Saturday!

Westerville Division of Police Fill-a-Cruiser in Westerville: WPD volunteers will collect non-perishable food items to benefit the residents served through the Westerville Area Resource Ministry (WARM). Groups will collect food at Marc's, Walmart and Kroger.

Chihuly Nights at Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens: This special engagement is a way to explore the gardens and biomes after dark when all 18 Chihuly glass installations are brilliantly illuminated against a botanical backdrop.

Paint & Sip: Hocus Pocus 3D Wood Cutout at Wine and Canvas Columbus: An evening of art and fun! This event is a painting class with cocktails No experience is needed.

Fall Festival at Oakland Nursery: Sales, door prizes, special guests & events, and all-you-can-carry pumpkins! (Saturday and Sunday)

Doggie Trick or Treat: Pawson Pop Up at Green Haven Living in Westerville: Locally owned and operated Pawson Dog Treat Company will be on hand for a special "Doggie Trick or Treat" Pop Up from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm! - Let your pup sample Columbus's own eco-friendly dog treats.

Groveport Apple Butter Day at Heritage Park: Celebrating Groveport's pioneer heritage, with kettles of homemade apple butter bubbling over wood fires, homemade crafts, pioneer demonstrators and live entertainment.

Second Saturdays at the Franklin County Fairgrounds: All of the vendors and crafters you love will be at the fairgrounds for Second Saturdays with some exciting new participants like fine artists, live musicians, and food trucks

October 9

Fashion Week Columbus: Fashion Week Columbus is the flagship program of the Columbus Fashion Council, which produces a full week of fashion shows and fashion-related programs showcasing emerging fashion designers to media, buyers, and the incredible fashion community in Central Ohio.

Crafters Who Care- Autumn Market at BrewDog New Albany: A Pop Up Market made up of vendors dedicated to giving back to Speak Animal Rescue! Crafters Who Care Market.

The Who 'Hits Back 2022 Tour' at the Schottenstein Center: The concert begins at 7:30 p.m.

Paint & Sip: Wood Home Sign at Wine & Canvas: An evening of art and fun. This painting class offers cocktails too. No experience is necessary.

Fairfield County Fair in Lancaster: The 172nd Fairfield County Fair runs from October 9-15.
