ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A pedestrian is dead after being struck by two vehicles while trying to cross Brown Street late Wednesday night.

First responders arrived at the 700 block of Brown Street for the report of a motor vehicle crash involving a male laying on the ground. Fire department members began performing life-saving measures but were ultimately unsuccessful in their attempts to save the man.

Investigators say the two vehicles involved in striking the victim remained at the scene. There is no suspicion of anything criminal in nature surrounding the incident, officials say.

Police are working to identify the victim at this time.
