LAKE TAHOE, Calif./Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) — Washoe County officials say the 911 issues in the Washoe County area have been resolved and service has been restored.
Residents in the Incline Village and Crystal Bay area can now call 911 for emergency assistance.
WCSO says 911 for the Washoe County area is functioning but currently experiencing some issues.
If you happen to get a busy signal when dialing 911, officials say to call back or dial 775-785-4252 or 775-785-4253 for emergency assistance.
Officials ask the public to avoid calling 911 for non-emergency calls.
The Incline Village and Crystal Bay area is experiencing a 911 outage Wednesday, according to the Washoe County Sheriff's Office (WCSO).
All calls to 911 in the area are reportedly ringing busy. WSCO says their team is working on the problem, but the system will be down for an undetermined amount of time.
