INVESTIGATION. NEW TONIGHT AT SIX, A JUDGE LOWERS THE BOND FOR A DAYCARE EMPLOYEE CHARGED WITH ABUSING CHILDREN IN HER CARE. RACHEL FLATTERY WORKED AT VANGUARD ACADEMY. POLICE SAY SHE WAS SEEN ON VIDEO PHYSICALLY ABUSING A SEVEN MONTH OLD AND TWO SIX MONTH OLD BABIES. ONE OF THE BABIES WAS TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL FOR TREATMENT. FLANNERY’S BOND WAS INITIALLY SET AT $50,000, BUT DURING A HEARING THIS MORNING, THE JUDGE LOWERED IT TO $25,000 CASH. AND IF FLANNERY POSTS IT, SHE WILL BE PUT

A judge has lowered the bond for the 24-year-old woman charged with abusing children at an east Louisville day care.Judge Stephanie Burke lowered Racheal Flannery's bond from $50,000 to $25,000 on Wednesday morning.Flannery, who worked at Vanguard Academy in Norton Commons, is being charged with three counts of criminal abuse first-degree, victim under 12.Police say that Flannery was seen on video physically abusing a 7-month-old and two 6-month-old babies.One of the babies was taken to Norton Children's Hospital to be treated.If Flannery posts her new bond, she will be put on house arrest. She is scheduled to be back in court next week.

A judge has lowered the bond for the 24-year-old woman charged with abusing children at an east Louisville day care.

Judge Stephanie Burke lowered Racheal Flannery's bond from $50,000 to $25,000 on Wednesday morning.
