These 4 luxurious Arizona spa resorts were named among the best in the US

Arizona has no shortage of spa resorts for people looking for a relaxing escape. Some of these destinations just received national recognition among the nation's best.

Conde Nast Traveler released its 2022 Readers' Choice Awards results, compiled based on readers' favorite travel experiences. It recognized four Arizona spa resorts - two in Tucson, one in Sedona and one in Carefree - among its list of the 19 best destination spas in the U.S.

Here's a look at the Arizona spas that the travel magazine's readers enjoyed the most.

Arizona's best:This resort hidden away in the mountains was just named No. 1

No. 4: Miraval Arizona Resort & Spa in Tucson

This escape in the Catalina Mountains has an abundance of ways to decompress, from its 23 indoor spa treatment rooms and six outdoor treatment rooms to its more than 100 fitness, yoga and meditation classes weekly. Guests also can bond with horses through the Equine Experience, or be a beekeeper for a day in a two-hour, hands-on experience that also includes honey tastings.
