Bakersfield Man Dead after Solo-Car Crash on Pin Oak Boulevard

BAKERSFIELD, CA (October 5, 2022) 66-year-old Milton Couto lost his life Thursday morning in a single-car crash on Pin Oak Boulevard. The accident took place at the 3600 block of Pin Oak Boulevard around 5:40 a.m. on Sept. 29th. According to reports, Couto veered off the road and slammed into a tree under unknown circumstances. The impact of the crash left fatal injuries to the man and responding paramedics pronounced him dead on the scene. At this time, investigators are unsure as to what caused the driver to veer off the road. However, an active investigation remains ongoing.
