Detwiler's Farm Market is reopening Store 1 on Palmer Boulevard in Sarasota.

Detwiler's Farm Market said it has reopened two more of its stores after Hurricane Ian.

Four of the Sarasota-based company's five locations are open as of Wednesday, director of marketing Amanda Ballard said. Detwiler's at University Parkway and Lockwood Ridge Road reopened Monday, and the company's Venice location is open as of Wednesday, Ballard said.

The power at the Venice store came back on Monday, Ballard said, and the team spent the day doing repairs and cleaning the store from top to bottom.

"Our team is currently restocking all of the shelves in preparation for a 10 a.m. opening (Wednesday)," Ballard wrote in an email Tuesday.

Detwiler's stores at Clark and Swift roads in Sarasota and in Palmetto reopened last week, Ballard said. That leaves just one Detwiler's store — at 6000 Palmer Boulevard — remaining closed.

The Palmer Boulevard store had its tar roof blown off, Ballard said. Fortunately, a concrete roof underneath protected the store from disaster, but there was  significant water damage and leaks into the store. Ironically, she said, the store never lost power.

"We currently don't have a solid timeline for when we will be able to reopen Palmer, but we will inform our customers as soon as we have a more solid date," Ballard said.
