Hy-Vee Voluntarily Recalls Eight Cheese Products

Des Moines, Iowa — Beginning on October 3rd Hy-Vee has voluntarily recalled eight cheese products made by Old Europe Cheese, which is based out of Benton Harbor, Michigan.

The cheese products recalled are Cranberry Brie Torte tray, Apricot Brie Torte tray, Triple Creme cheese board, Sparkling Fruit and Cheese Board, Bon Appetite Gift Basket, La Bonne Vie Domestic Double Creme Brie, La Bonne Vie French Double Creme Brie, and Deluxe Delights Gift Basket.

The reason for the recall is that some of these cheese may have been contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. The expiration dates that may have been contaminated range from September 28 to December 14. They are asking customers to check their products if they have any of the recalled items and return them back to Hy-Vee for a full refund.
