US HOW IT MIGHT LOOK A LITTLE DIFFERENT THIS YEAR. JACOB? FOR THE LAST 20 YEARS THE RALLY HAS BEEN CENTERED IN FAYETTEVILLE, BUT THIS YEAR THE HOME BASE FOR THE EVENT WILL BE HERE IN ROGERS. (NATS: BIKES TAKING OFF) BIKERS ARE ALREADY GATHERING FOR THE 2022 RALLY. <> "The last two years were great even with COVID, we put our show on and had some great participation. So we felt like this year is going to be one of the best ones ever." IT'S THE FIRST TIME SINCE COVID STARTED THAT EVERYTHING IS BACK TO NORMAL. EXCEPT ONE THING. "It just gives people a little closer avenue to go check out different locations. Fayetteville is great. I hope people still go check it out. Because there's a lot of cool businesses down there and the riding trains good, but it's just closer, you know, makes it more ideal." INSTEAD OF BEING BASED IN FAYETTEVILLE, THE HOME BASE WILL BE IN ROGERS THIS YEAR. IT'S THE FIRST TIME SINCE BIKES BLUES AND BARBECUE STARTED 20 YEARS AGO. <> "We've been coming to pig trail Harley for the last 12 years to be a part of this great event called bikes blues and barbecue." THERE HAVE ALWAYS BEEN EVENTS AND VENDORS THROUGHOUT NORTHWEST ARKANSAS. BUT THIS YEAR, SOMETHING NEW IS REVVING UP IN ROGERS. "We expect to get an uptick. I don't know what that looks like. Bikes, Blues, and Barbecue is officially moving it's base city to Rogers from Fayetteville this year. It just gives people a little closer avenue to go check out different locations," Pig Trail Harley Davidson general manager Kyle Johnson said. "Fayetteville is great, I hope people still go check it out."This is the first time in the event's 20-year history that the base city has been moved. “We expect to get an uptick," Johnson said. "I don't know what that looks like but we expect a little bigger pool of people coming in."The motorcycle rally will officially start at the Rogers Convention Center on Wednesday, Oct. 5 and end on Saturday, Oct. 8.
