What's canceled, postponed in Lee, Collier counties in coming weeks? Here's a list

A number of events in Lee County have been postponed or canceled. 

Country musician Luke Bryan and Pitbull postponed their Hertz Arena concerts because of Hurricane Ian.

POSTPONED INCLUDES MYRA JANCO DANIELS CELEBRATION OF LIFE

Oct. 12: Horizon Foundation: The President’s Circle event originally scheduled for Oct. 12 has been postponed. A new date will be announced soon.

Oct. 13: Gulfshore Playhouse canceled "26 Miles," a production set to begin mid-October in downtown Naples. The 2022-2023 season will now open with Robert Harling’s "Steel Magnolias" on Nov. 12.

Oct. 13: Community Cooperative: The Becoming Cosmopolitan — Gone Country event originally scheduled for Oct. 13 has been postponed. A new date will be announced soon.

Oct. 14: Wonder Gardens: Brews for the Bees, originally scheduled for Oct. 14, has been rescheduled to Dec. 9.

Oct. 15: Pitbull has postponed his Hertz Arena concert, with no new date scheduled yet.

Oct. 22-23: Conservancy of Southwest Florida’s RedSnook Catch and Release Charity Fishing Tournament on Oct. 22 and Oct. 23 is postponed until Dec. 3 and 4. The kickoff party planned Oct. 21 at 5:30 p.m. at Florida Sports Park will still be held.

Oct. 25: Fyzical East Fort Myers: The Fyzical East Fort Myers trunk-or-treat event and open house originally scheduled for Oct. 25 has been postponed to December. This event will shift to a Toys for Tots focus. A new date in December will be announced soon.

Oct. 27: Industry Appreciation Awards: Industry Appreciation Awards 2022 originally scheduled for Oct. 27 in Fort Myers has been postponed to January. The new date will be announced soon.

Oct. 27: Goldstein, Buckley, Cechman, Rice & Purtz, P.A.: Goldstein, Buckley, Cechman, Rice & Purtz, P.A.’s 60th Anniversary happy hour originally scheduled for Oct. 27 has been postponed. A new date will be announced soon.

Nov. 17: Habitat for Humanity: Habitat for Humanity’s 40th Anniversary Celebration originally scheduled for Nov. 17 has been postponed. A new date will be announced soon.

CANCELED EVENTS INCLUDE PARADISE COAST WINE & FOOD EXPERIENCE IN NAPLES

Oct. 15: Paradise Coast Wine & Food Experience at Cambier Park, downtown Naples has been canceled. The last time the event was held was in 2019, before the COVID pandemic. 

Oct. 21-23 and Oct. 28-30: Annual Oktoberfest by the German American Social Club 2101 SW Pine Island Road, Cape Coral.

Nov. 12-19: Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife: The Taste of the Islands event, originally scheduled for Nov. 12-19, is now canceled.
