LEBANON, Ohio (WKRC) – A Lebanon woman is accused of ordering her dog to attack her six-year-old neighbor.

Cassie Thierauf, 38, was indicted Monday for the August 25 attack on a charge of felonious assault and endangering children.

10-year-old Daria says she and the victim were playing with their friends outside Thierauf’s Rosemarie Drive home when Thierauf opened the door and unleashed two dogs.

“We all heard her say, ‘Go get them,’” Daria said.

Prosecutors say the victim’s mother had just caught Thierauf doing drugs in the backyard.

Daria says the victim’s mother “used to film her [Thierauf] do pills and we did film her do pills and she got mad.”

She also says she and her friends returned to the front yard and were playing with chalk when Thierauf unleashed her dogs.

One of the dogs latched onto the six-year-old victim’s hair and was dragging her up and down the sidewalk, Daria says. The other dog chased her and her friends.

“It was really bad and I feel terrible because I didn’t do nothing to stop it. I just ran,” Daria said.

The victim was left with bite marks all over her head and on her lips, but has since recovered.

After the dog attack, Daria claims Thierauf attacked the girl herself.

“She was basically standing there," she said. "But then when she seen it get serious with her lip, she went down and she started punching her, punching her in her back."
