Oct. 5 — Dehd at the Belasco

Three piece Chicago based rock band Dehd share their latest album, Blue Skies, out via Fat Possum. With mostly bite sized songs on the album — only a few pass the 3-minute mark and many are just barely over two minutes — Dehd’s tunes create little sparks of light that flair up before burning out; the darkness replaced by another bright and glaring track until you’ve suddenly reached the end. Don’t miss Dehd when they return to Los Angeles with a headline show at the Belasco in Downtown LA on Oct. 5.

Tickets are priced at $22.

Oct. 6 — The Spits at Teragram Ballroom

Everytime we check out the Spits it’s a wild show full of sweat and madness. Bringing the party with their raucous skate punk, you better believe this is going to be an epic show where you best bring your party pants. The Spits will be playing with Sheer mag on Oct. 6 at the Teragram Ballroom

Tickets are priced at $25.

Oct. 6 — Yeah Yeah Yeahs at Hollywood Bowl

Yeah Yeah Yeahs have announced tour dates with a Los Angeles concert date at the Hollywood Bowl for Thursday, Oct. 6. To top it all off, the iconic indie band will be supposed by Japanese Breakfast and The Linda Lindas!!! This is quite possiblby the best show of all of October, if not the year (one of). Touring in support of their gorgeous new album, Cool It Down, the eight-track album is the band’s first in nine years and sparkles with a fresh, more pop-friendly sound. Still with a sharp YYYs edge, the melodic album is one that brings out all the emotions we’ve been holding on to the past few years.

Tickets are sold-out but there are resale options for as low as $39!
