The WeHa Artists Emporium’s bi-annual Art Trail event will include a visit to five locations in the neighborhood near West Hartford’s Morley School, and an assortment of fun activities.

Nineteen local artists and crafters will offer the community a chance to do some early holiday shopping for one-of-a-kind gifts, and in addition to enjoying what will hopefully be beautiful autumn weather as visitors stroll between five sites in West Hartford’s Morley School neighborhood, there are a few extras included as part of the bi-annual WeHa Artists Emporium’s event.
The fall Art Trail will be held on Saturday, Oct. 15, from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m., with Sunday, Oct. 16 set as the rain date. The completely outdoor event – a format that began during the pandemic but has been embraced by the WeHa Artists Emporium and the community – will provide the opportunity for patrons to chat with the artists and crafters, who will be stationed at five different homes all within walking distance.
Many of the artists have participated in multiple previous Art Trails, but there are a few newcomers as well. In addition to the art, there will also be live music and tarot readings.

The WeHa Artists Emporium has added another special element as an incentive to visit all five locations. “This year we’re having a raffle,” founder Stefanie Marco said.
“There will be little artist signs at each location, like a little Andy Warhol sign and a little Georgia O’Keefe sign,” she said. The specific rules will be posted at each location, and in order to be entered in the raffle, people need to post photos of those signs to social media.
Many of the artists have contributed to the raffle prize, including Marco, who is donating a piece of mixed-media. Other items include an original drawing by Julie Phillipps, a candle from the WeHa Candle Company, a ceramic ring dish by Heart Stone Gallery, cashmere-lined mittens by Mariposa, a 6-pack of cards from Elizadolittletoday Photography, and a hand-thrown mini pot with a candle from Grace Erin Ceramics.

Adam Eytan will provide live music at 35 North Quaker Lane, where the works of Kindspin Design, Heart Stone Gallery, WeHa Candle Company, and The CucuCollect will be on display.
At 23 Farnham Road, “Alexandra” will provide tarot readings, and trail-goers will also find items from Modern Twist Macrame and Handmade by Julie Phillipps.
Annie Hayami Designs and Ket Lincoln Art will have work displayed at 111 Foxcroft Avenue, while 45 Grisold Drive will feature The House She Loved, Hockman Photography, Amy Casazza, Erin DeLuca Jewelry, MAC Boards and Blocks, and Mijumi Art.
Work by Elizadolittletoday Photography, Mariposa, Strange Charm Glass, Kimberly Heil, and Grace Erin Ceramics will be found at 70 Ballard Drive.
