Nothing screams Halloween more than a night at a haunted house and I've rounded up some haunted attractions in and around the Shreveport-Bossier area. Whether you're looking for a classic haunted walking trail or wanting a full adventure park filled with scary activities, there's something for everyone on this list.

NecroManor Haunted House - Bossier City

For 9 spooky seasons Necromanor has been scaring the residents of Shreveport-Bossier and this years theme is all about your worst nightmares! Tickets are $10 at the door or they can be purchased online at the NecroManor website.

Hours:

  • Fridays 7 p.m. - Midnight
  • Saturdays 6 p.m. - Midnight
  • Sundays 6 - 10 p.m.
  • Halloween 6 p.m. - Midnight

NecroManor Haunted House is located at 505 Boardwalk Blvd. in Bossier City, Louisiana.

The Devil's Knot - Haughton

Come out to this haunted walking trail where anything from your scariest nightmares could happen. Tickets are $25 for general admission and $60 for the VIP fast pass and can either be purchased at the gate with cash or online at Hauntpay.com

The trail is open Fridays and Saturdays from 7:30 p.m. - Midnight

The Devil's Knot is located at 2663 Mayflower Rd. in Haughton, Louisiana.

Doc Wilkes House of Horrors - Longview

This is the oldest and longest-running haunted attraction in East Texas providing high-quality scares for 20 years. In addition to the House of Horrors, there is the Mine of Mystery attraction, the Fright Show Museum and the Bone Yard Theatre. Tickets for the House of Horrors are $25 for general admission and $25 for the VIP fast pass, for the schedules and tickets for all attractions, visit the Doc Wilkes House of Horrors website.

  • Thursdays 7:30 - 10 p.m.
  • Fridays and Saturdays 7:30 p.m. - Midnight
  • Halloween 7:30 p.m. - Midnight

Doc Wilkes House of Horrors is located at 1228 Market St. in Longview, Texas.

Dark Woods - Natchitoches

The Dark Woods are filled with roaming creatures of the night and mayhem gauranteed to give you a fright. Tickets are $30 for the general admission and $45 for the fast pass. Parents, guardians and chaperones can purchase the "Scaredy Cat" ticket for $5 to permit them on the grounds without having to go through the attractions. Purchase your tickets ahead of time at the Dark Woods website.

The park is open Fridays and Saturdays 6:30 - 11 p.m.

The Dark Woods Adventure Park is located at 4343 University Pkwy in Natchitoches, Louisiana.
