NEIGHBORHOOD IN. YEAH, THAT’S RIGHT. THIS A TEN ACRE FIRE THAT STARTED FROM JUST A FEW HAY BALES. NOW, FIRE CREWS SAY THAT TODAY’S WIND CARRIED THOSE SPARKS INTO TREES AND THOSE FLAMES GOT UNCOMFORTABLY CLOSE TO SOME NEARBY HOMES. THICK, BLACK SMOKE AND FLAMES CIRCLED THE HOMES AS CREWS RUSHED TO ACTION. FLAMES WERE HIGH ABOVE THE TREE LINE THAT WRAPS AROUND FRANCES TUTTLE. TECHNOLOGY CENTER’S CAMPUS, OKLAHOMA FIRE GEAR CREEK, DEL CITY AND EDMOND FOCUS THEIR ENERGY INTO PROTECTING THOSE HOMES IN THE LINE OF FIRE. OUR BIGGEST CONCERN WAS THAT THERE WAS A HOUSING ADDITIONAL THE NORTH SIDE OF THIS FIELD SO WE QUICKLY GOT OUR BRUSH PUMPERS MOVING TOWARDS HEAD OF THE FIRE JUST TO PROTECT THOSE EXPOSURES IS IF THAT FIRE PICK BACK UP, IT WOULDN’T TAKE LONG TO REACH THESE HOUSES. SO. NOW, THANKFULLY, CREWS TELL NO HOMES WERE DAMAGED OR, LOST IN TODAY’S FIRE AND YOU CAN SEE THAT THE FIRE DID JUMP THE FENCE. CAMPUS TELLS ME THAT THEY DID NOT HAVE TO HAVE ANY EVACUATION TODAY. CREWS SAY THEY WILL REMAIN. AND FIGHTING THESE FLARE THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT. REPO
