After the pandemic disrupted the annual event for two years, Preakness Stakes finally returned in full force Saturday to Pimlico Race Course in Northwest Baltimore.

Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan, Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott, Baltimore County Executive Johnny Olszewski and Food Network star Bobby Flay were among the notable guests as the city prepared for the big race.

Infield Fest was also back Saturday with musical acts Marshmello, the Chainsmokers, Moneybagg Yo and Frank Walker. Fans filled up on water and shade as Preakness day recorded record high temperatures around 90 degrees.
