Alabama softball outfielder Jenna Johnson saved a home run in the third inning of the Crimson Tide's second-round regional game against Stanford at Rhoads Stadium on Saturday.

Johnson tracked down a ball hit to the fence in right center.

On the ESPN2 broadcast, play-by-play announcer Alex Perlman said, "Deep right center field, back and its out of here – no, she caught it. She brought it in! Johnson, what a play!"

"That ball looked like it was going to be out of here right off the bat. The center fielder, Johnson, had a bead on it right at the beginning, up against the fence," said ESPN analyst Francesca Enea. "I can't tell you how hard it is to have ball awareness and fence awareness at the same time.
