“Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood Live” has performances at Pittsburgh’s Byham Theater on Saturday.
The live show is based off of the popular children’s show, itself a spin-off from the classic “Mister Roger’s Neighborhood,” which was produced in Pittsburgh and was headline by the late Latrobe native Fred Rogers.
Actress Amanda Leigh Lupacchino, who plays Daniel Tiger in the live show, says she understands the legacy here in Pittsburgh.
“I definitely think families coming in the Pittsburgh area will have a deeper connection to the show and I think it's important for me to say this show is for everyone,” said Lupacchino.
Saturday’s performances are at 3 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
