Texas Marriage Rates Increase

New numbers from the National Center for Health Statistics show that, in 2020, the number of marriages will hit the lowest level since the 60s, thanks to COVID. But four states bucked that trend and saw the marriage rate increase. Texas was one of them. Marriage rates in Texas increased by 8% in 2020, even as COVID took hold. One idea is that restrictions were lower than in other states, making the state a popular place for destination weddings.
