Man shoots ex-girlfriend, her daughter then turns gun on himself

GALENA PARK, Texas –Harris County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a triple shooting late Tuesday night.

The shooting took place just before midnight at a home off 4th Street and Bank Drive.

Deputies said when Galena Park Police arrived, they found two females and a man with gunshot wounds. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 47-year-old ex-girlfriend was shot several times and she was taken by Lifeflight to the hospital in critical condition. The 23-year-old female, the ex-girlfriend's daughter, was shot in the arm. She was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Investigators say the man came over to his ex-girlfriend's house and shot her, then shot her daughter before turning the gun on himself.

Several other people were inside the house, including an infant, at the time of the shooting. They were taken in for questioning by investigators.
