Omaha police are investigating a robbery and an attempted robbery at two separate West Omaha gas stations early Wednesday morning.Omaha police told KETV NewsWatch 7 that the suspect was located Wednesday and taken into custody. Authorities said the suspect is believed to be involved in both incidents.According to authorities, officers responded to the Casey's near S 138th and Q streets around 2:37 a.m. An employee told law enforcement that a white male entered the business, claimed to have a gun and demanded money. He left without taking money, according to Omaha police.Officers were then called to the Kum and Go near 144th and Q streets around 2:40 a.m. According to an employee, a while male claimed to have a gun and demanded money. He took an unknown amount of cash and left in a white GMC truck, according to authorities.Officers investigated the registered address of the truck and made contact with the residents at the address, but did not find the suspect.The investigation remains ongoing.
