Rain chances increase heading into the weekend

DAYTON, OH (WKEF) -- Rain moves back in this morning. Temps start in the mid to upper 50s this morning. Shower chances will be light through the morning commute before we end up seeing heavier rain through the afternoon. Highs today will reach into the mid 70s.

We heat up beyond this point. A slight chance for storms will be possible for Thursday as well!

Summer heat returns Friday with highs around 90 degrees! This will be ahead of a strong cold front that will move through on Saturday. Plan on rain and storms on Saturday...a few could be on the stronger side so we are watching this closely!

Cooler air will then move in as we start off next week. Highs will be back in the upper 60s for the start of next week with lows even dropping into the 40s.
