Suspected drunk driver sentenced to 15 years after 16-year-old girl was dragged to death

SAN ANTONIO- A San Antonio man has learned his fate in the 2020 dragging death of a 16-year-old.

20-year-old Steven Medina was sentenced to 15 years in prison for intoxication manslaughter after taking a plea deal in late March.

Medina is accused of being drunk behind the wheel when 16-year-old Jessica Medina was caught in her seatbelt, as she was trying to get out of his car. She was dragged to her death.
